Although the track may come off as loud or annoying, I believe the shouts and noisy hook of the track really represent the theme they were going for. In my opinion, NCT 127 really ‘popped off’ with this new song. The various locations shot in the music video is also clearly inspired by Chinese traditional architecture, but also current elements such as motorcycles and neon lights that give the Kick It MV a modern twist where the members stand out accordingly.

They recreated and added in a whole fight scene in their choreography to remind us of Lee.
